Christopher Bentley is an operational and financial management professional with 16 years of experience. Chris started Bentley Growth Management Consulting in May 2006. Expertise includes financial analysis, due diligence, business plan development, investor pitch preparation, and strategic management consulting services. He has focused on the following sectors: green-technology, social finance, education, job development and healthcare. Chris has experience working with both for-profit and non-profit entities.
Chris is also Executive Director and Co-Founder of GoodCompany Ventures, a business incubator targeting entrepreneurs with innovative solutions to unmet social needs. GoodCompany entrepreneurs are offered a great place to work in Philadelphia, a community of like-minded entrepreneurs, and access to a network of capital sources and expert advisors. GoodCompany Ventures champions models that offer investors financial return and social impact.
Chris is a part-time adjunct instructor for Temple University’s Fox School of Business, where he serves as a project manager for the MBA capstone course, Enterprise Management Consulting Practice (EMC). EMC is a six-credit course that integrates all previous MBA class work and applies that integrated knowledge to evidence based and theoretically informed strategic consulting for real firms.
Prior to his consulting experience, Chris worked at Lutron Electronics, Inc. as the Business and Financial Analyst for the Window Systems business unit. Prior to that, he held several operations management roles. Before working at Lutron, Chris was Manager of Production Engineering and Quality Assurance at GAI-Tronics, Inc., a manufacturer of industrial telecommunications equipment. He also held consulting roles at Urban Engineers, Inc., a transportation design and engineering consulting firm in Philadelphia, PA.Company Beliefs
